The aim of the applied research project is the development of a compact system consisting of an electrochemical detection and analysis platform with database/reporting system for the rapid identification of undesirable anthropogenic organic trace substances in order to be able to assess the quality of drinking water (groundwater and surface water) and the contamination of indoor air with mold spores at any time. Our intended integrated system is based on the highly sensitive detection of electrochemically active substances. It continuously and fully automatically determines the contamination with various trace substances or spores directly from the drinking water/surface water or directly from the room air in real time.
