The Certificate Program “Aviation Management” is one of the very few of its kind in Europe. It consists of special modules on Aviation Management and bridges scientific knowledge with practice. It aims to find answers for the essential and most pressing managerial and economic questions confronting the aviation industry – be it Airlines, Airports, Air Traffic Management, Aircraft Manufacturers or international Aviation Organizations. The Program is intended to make an essential contribution to the students’ professional and leadership development and to help them cope with the daily challenges of their careers.
Students enrolled for the Certificate Program can later also enroll for the MBA Program with the Specialization “Aviation Management” or the “Executive MBA” Program. The modules completed can be credited in terms of content and funding.
Aviation Management knowledge and leadership skills are crucial for the next Aviation generation – the blended learning concept, the excellent faculty and the transfer of personal knowledge in class foster the careers of the students immensely.

Target group
The Certificate Program attracts Aviation professionals who have qualified working- and management experiences in the Aviation sector, be it as business managers, engineers, operations managers, pilots, legal experts or experts working in an international Aviation organization and fulfill the English language skill level C1.

In combination with other continuing education programs, Stackable Programs can be combined to achieve an academic degree.

Curriculum
The modules of this General Management core curriculum can be completed in blocks. The compulsory modules last 2 days each and are offered in blocks of 4 days, with each block including a different module.
Aviation Management
The focus of the scientific-based Specialization lies on imparting Aviation Management and Business knowledge with a strong practical orientation. It aims to find answers for the essential and most pressing managerial and economic questions confronting all sectors of the aviation industry. The Specialization modules of the blended learning program are taught in English over the period of one year. The face-to-face units onsite foster an intensive exchange of knowledge and experiences with renowned faculty members and professionally experienced fellow students from the industry.

Admission requirements
- Students who have an Austrian or equivalent foreign university degree of any relevant higher education studies of any subject (at least a Bachelor-degree) and a minimum of two years of professional experience or
- Students with a general university entrance qualification and at least 6 years of relevant professional experience in an appropriate position if this experience results in a qualification equivalent to a university degree or
- at least ten years of relevant professional experience in an appropriate position, and
- English language skills C1
- All entry qualifications will be assessed within the framework of an admission procedure.
